Frequently Asked Questions

We are an Singapore based retail shop but we also also sell out products internationally to the enthusiasts collectors that does not reside in Singapore

All prices quoted are in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

For Walk-in customers, Nets, Visa, Master, Amex, Paynow & GrabPay payments are accepted.

For online orders, full payment; deposit or installment payment will be made through stripe and simply select either Visa or Master for payment

Once you have made payment, you will receive confirmation emails from The Collector Base:

1st email: An invoice detailing your order

2nd email: A invoice detailing that your payment has been successful

Your order is only consider secured once you have received the 2nd email.

Once your order is ready for collection or shipping, we will send you an notification email along with the invoices for your outstanding balance & shipping payment.

LEAD TIME
All orders are shipped within 72 hours Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm.(Singapore Time)
For local customers, regular mail usually will reach you within 2 – 3 business days
For overseas customers, item will usually reach you 11 to 16 business days
*expect some delays when it hit the peak season*

COURIERS
We use mainly the following couriers to deliver our orders internationally:
Singapore Post, Speed Post, DHL, UPS, Fedex, TNT & Aramex.
*Default shipping method will be the most cost efficient method for your order unless otherwise stated by collector*

TRACKING
We will update your order with the tracking number information as all the shipping method we use all comes with full tracking be it locally or internationally.

SHIPPING RATES
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the volumetric weight of your products and your location. At the final checkout page you will not be shown what the cost of shipping will be as actual rates can only be determine when production has completed. You may email us at support@thecollectorbase.sg to find out more on the estimated shipping rate we have and decide after if you wish to place your order or not.

THE COLLECTOR BASE reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice

The Collecor Base does not charge any custom duties on our overseas shipments, however we cannot ensure that custom charges will not be impose on your package when it arrive in your country. We are not responsible for these charges and cannot provide estimation as to what these charges might be. You may wish to contact your local customs office or post office for this matter to seek for further information.

We order the product quantity based on the numbers of PRE ORDER we received so there will be no cancellation allowed once PRE ORDER is placed. THREATS or SHOUTING DEMANDS will be ignored at The Collector base as we aim to solve problems NOT create new ones.

Deposit received for your PRE ORDER items are NON REFUNDABLE, NON CANCELlABLE, NON TRANSFERABLE to other purchases without the consent of The Collector Base. Note that the deposits are hand over to the manufacturers to secure the quantity.

We will issue you full refund. In circumstances where manufacturer due to certain reason(s) are unable to release the product, we will cancel the PRE ORDER and any deposit received will be 100% refund.

We strive to give you the product in good packaging condition. However, please do understand that at times, the shipment can be slightly rough handled by the shipping company as such there will be might dent on the outer box. In this instance The Collector Base reserved the rights to refuse any cancellation of orders due to this dent box should you not accept such dent.

* For all the perfectionist out there looking for the perfect box, kindly look for other toy shop(s) that can cater to your requirements. The Collector Base strongly believe that dent box DOES NOT EQUATE to DAMAGED products.

Any product that is purchase from The Collector Base is protected against manufacturer defect within 3 working days of purchase and return in its original factory condition, we will do a 1-to-1 exchange if there are similar products in stock or issue a refund based on the severity of the damage

For international collectors, you are also protected against manufacturer defect within 3 working days upon receiving your parcel and refunds will be made accordingly based on the severity of the damage. 

You must return the item within 3 days of your purchase or upon receiving your order in factory condition.
*Overseas customers will have to bear the shipping cost*

Orders received for your PRE ORDER or IN STOCK items are NON REFUNDABLE, NON CANCELLABLE, NON TRANSFERABLE to other purchases without the consent of The Collector Base.
